Hilton Board of Education recognizes Friends of
Education
Every schoo l
year the Hilton Board of Education honors
individuals and organizations in the Hilton school
community who have contributed to the education of
Hilton students through volunteer or other efforts.
2011 Friends of Education
Hilton High School nominated music department volunteer Ana
Maria Ban; music volunteer Sharon Rivais received the LeeRoy
Williams Music Award; the Athletic Department nominated
three Boys Lacrosse volunteers Patrick Clark, John Pace and
Robert Trowbridge; Merton Williams Middle School nominated
parent volunteer Herve Dauvergne; Northwood Elementary
School nominated Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Wendy
Malsegna for her work with the DARE program; the Village
Elementary School nominated Reading Buddies volunteers Tracy
LaFountain and James Maley; Quest Elementary School
nominated parent volunteer Nancy Pickering; and the District
Improvement Team nominated Sarisa Zoghlin.
2010 Friends of Education
Hilton-Parma Chamber of Commerce was nominated by Hilton High School
for its efforts and support for last fall's "Make a
Difference Day"; Dominic Pettinari received the LeeRoy Williams Music
Award; Varsity Baseball statistician John Ayers was nominated by
Hilton Interscholastic Sports; parent volunteer Paul Davis
was nominated by Merton Williams Middle School; parent volunt eer Annie Angelucci
was
nominated by Northwood Elementary School; Town of Parma Historians, Don Stilson, Frank Thomas
and Marilyn Wright were nominated by the Village
Elementary School; school volunteer Kimie Romeo was nominated by Quest Elementary
S chool; the Board of Education's Audit Committee
nominated community members, Sharon Brunett, Cerri Cupples, Ellen
Pelkey and James Steiger.
2009 Friends of Education
